About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Account Executives and customers to deeply understand their needs, demonstrate our product’s value, and ensure a smooth technical evaluation process. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our prospects, translating technical capabilities into business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with AEs during the sales process to lead technical discovery and solution design
- Deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations tailored to customer needs
- Build and manage POCs, pilots, and integrations during the sales cycle
- Serve as the technical liaison between Sales and Engineering teams
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product, including architecture, APIs, and integrations
- Provide feedback to the Engineering team based on customer needs and market trends
- Help develop sales enablement materials and scalable solutions (e.g., demo environments, solution templates)
Who You Are / Must-Haves:
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong technical background — comfortable with APIs, databases, and cloud architecture (and can write a bit of code)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Curiosity, empathy, and a customer-first mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience selling or supporting sales of SaaS products, especially in the AI, data, or customer experience space
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Zapier, or relevant cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Prior experience working with sales tools
